Public Housing

The Franklin County Housing Authority consists of four community locations between Chambersburg and Waynesboro. Meadow Creek I and II are located in Chambersburg

and Village Green and Valley View Village are located in Waynesboro. We offer affordable housing to accommodate senior, disabled, individual, and family households.

Our efficiencies, one bedroom, two bedrooms, single-level two bedrooms, three bedrooms, four bedrooms, and five-bedroom units provide warmth, comfort, and safety while utilizing energy efficient and environmentally friendly amenities to include water, sewer, trash removal, recycling, gas heat, and gas cooking.

During business hours, our residents will have access to a dedicated team consisting of a Property Manager, Management Aide(s), Clerk Typist (s), Resident Initiatives Coordinator and a full Maintenance department to address all of their needs and concerns. Maintenance services are provided 24-hours a day to handle all emergencies.

Not only do we provide housing to our community, we also provide resources to encourage our residents to become self-sufficient and achieve their goals. A monthly food distribution is provided to assist those in need of food and household products through the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. The Annual National Night Out provides bookbags and school supplies to all of our school-aged residents. Our partnership with local Health and Wellness programs and businesses has allowed us to provide mobile vaccination clinics, walking incentives, and informational materials.

We emphasize the need for diversity and inclusivity in our communities to encourage togetherness and acceptance of one another.
