PUBLIC REPORTING

Pursuant to the provisions of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 24 CFR Part 903, et.al. 5 Year Plan and Annual Plan. Notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Housing Authority has prepared the 2024 Annual Plan.  The Annual Plan is available for public review and inspection effective 11-22-2023.  A public hearing will take place to discuss the 2024 Annual Plan on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. at 436 West Washington Street, Chambersburg, PA.  The 2024 Annual Plan is available for inspection at the following locations:

Violence Against Women's Act (VAWA)

VAWA protects applicants, tenants, and program participants in certain HUD programs from being evicted, denied housing assistance, or terminated from housing assistance based on acts of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking against them.  Despite the name of this law, VAWA protection is available to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, regardless of sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
